The beautiful St Mary's River on the eastern shore of Nova Scotia has been a destination for avid salmon anglers since the last century.  Sherbrooke, standing astride the river, is now the home of a model village depicting early Canadian life along this rugged Maritime coastline.  Now tourists and fishermen alike enjoy the unspoiled environment and heritage of this 19th century "Nova Scottish" settlement, located just over 2 hours east of Halifax.

Today, Sherbrooke is also home to St Mary's River Smokehouses.  From a start in 1996 as a 2500 square foot facilty, St. Mary's has since expanded and grown to be one of the largest salmon smokehouses in Canada, processing close to a million pounds of Atlantic salmon annually. With over 50 employees, we are the largest employer in the region.
