Nova Scotia Style, Cold Smoked "D" Sliced Salmon (also available in Peppered and Montreal Spice flavours)

The 'classic smoked salmon', often served as a party appetizer garnished with capers, fresh dill and lemon, or on bagel with cream cheese. The recipe is simple and pure: fresh salmon cured with a little salt, sugar and then oak smoked - St. Mary's style - before trimming and slicing. Each "D" shaped thin slice has a delicate smoky flavor and delicious buttery texture.

How is it Processed ?

  • Only the freshest, highest grade Atlantic Salmon are selected for smoking
  • The salmon is gently dry-cured with salt and sugar
  • Oak-smoked in controlled conditions of temperature and humidity
  • Each fillet is heavily trimmed and skin removed before slicing
  • Vacuum sealed on a board in a variety of  package sizes, all within Kosher standards
  • Frozen and boxed
