Salmon Slices
New to North America, our slices come from a fully cooked, ready-to-eat salmon fillet that’s been pre – sliced. The slices are a healthy, convenient addition to salads, sandwiches or appetizers. Think of them as an omega 3-packed alternative to cooked, sliced chicken breasts. Slices can be thawed in the refrigerator in the unopened package for 4-6 hours prior to use. If time is of the essence, place package in cool water for 30 minutes.
How are they Processed?
- Smaller salmon fillets are brine-cured with a special blend of salt and sugar, air dried, and hot smoked
- The smoked fillets have skin removed and trimmed before thick slicing using a unique Danish technology
- The slices are weighed and packed using a Vacuum Skin Packing (VSP) technology
